Job Description: Visitor Experience Assistant
Do you want to help bring cultural experiences to life?
You’ll be a vital member of our front of house team and at the heart of the visitor journey. From the moment visitors walk through the door to the time they leave, you’ll help create memorable, engaging and welcoming experiences for people of all ages.
You’ll work across a wide range of front of house areas. Whether you’re welcoming visitors, promoting products in the gift shop or serving in catering outlets, you’ll play a key role in ensuring visitors have an outstanding day out.
You’ll be responsible for upholding the highest front of house standards, delivering consistently excellent customer service and ensuring the museum is presented in its very best light. You might even find yourself in costume, helping bring Milestones’ historic streets to life!
A bit about you
A confident verbal communicator, you’ll excel at making others feel welcome and valued. You’ll have a strong drive to make the visitor experience at Milestones and Basing House the best it can be, ensuring each and every visitor has an excellent day out!
You’ll be a supportive team player, always willing to jump in and lend a hand, but also happy to work on your own initiative when necessary. You might even know a little about history yourself and be keen to pass your knowledge onto others in an engaging way.
